SantoTirso Impressions 

With Santo Tirso Impressions, Oscar Flecha has built a sound imagery inspired by several locations around the city of that name, bringing together diverse aesthetics in a harmonious coexistence, through various electrical and acoustic textures. Impressions is made up of seven contrasting pieces.

It pays tribute to the city that hosts the International Guitar Festival, which he has mentored and conducted since its first edition.

Fifth impression

Based on sounds recorded by the Cassini space probe while orbiting around Saturn, Fifth Impression has a four-part structure:

Part I : Out there

Part II : Storm

Part III : Aurora

Part IV : Interference

It also draws inspiration from Ascensión, Julio Le Parc's sculpture in Santo Tirso.
